Mr. Baccari leads the firm’s dispute resolution practice. Jake has experience representing clients in domestic and multi-jurisdictional litigation, arbitration (appearing in proceedings administered by AAA, HKIAC, ICC, ICDR, ICSID, JCAA, LCIA, and SIAC), investigations, and crisis situations in a variety of industries including aero, auto, banking and finance, energy, heavy, hospitality, and private equity. Jake has represented clients in contentious and regulatory matters across the United States and in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. Jake is a Board Certified Expert in International Law by The Florida Bar and a member of the DC Bar. Prior to returning to Miami to join the firm, Jake worked in Asia for more than a decade, practicing at White & Case in Tokyo where he was registered as a foreign attorney with the Japan Federation of Bar Associations and then serving as Senior Group Counsel for Standard Chartered Bank in Singapore.
