TENZER PLLC NEGOTIATES SEVERAL HIGH PROFILE HOTEL DEALS
MIAMI, FL – Sept. 9, 2014 – Tenzer PLLC, a leading South Florida boutique law firm, announced today that it provided legal services in connection with the following hotel transactions, including:
Represented the owners of the Eden Roc Hotel in connection with the negotiation of a hotel license and food & beverage management agreement with Nobu Hospitality. Nobu Hotel will be a “hotel within a hotel,” (similar in concept to the Nobu Hotel at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas), containing approximately 200 newly-renovated rooms. This transaction also included negotiating a restaurant lease with Nobu Restaurants. One of the most high-end Japanese restaurants on Miami Beach will leave its home of more than a decade at the Shore Club and move to the Eden Roc.
Represented the owners of a large Mexican hotel company in connection with the negotiation of long-term license agreements with Hard Rock International for two new-build hotels in Los Cabos and a second Mexico location. The Cabo property will have 600 guest rooms, while the other property is slated to have 900. Tenzer PLLC has represented ownership in connection with the negotiation of license agreements for all Hard Rock hotels in Mexico, which brings the total to 5. These transactions represent Hard Rock’s first foray into the all-inclusive Mexico market.
Represented ownership of the Marriott Stanton South Beach in connection with the negotiation of a lease with Plan Do See, an international food & beverage company with first-class restaurants in New York City (Daruma-Ya, Sushi Azabu), Japan, and other cities around the world. Plan Do See will open and operate several restaurants in the hotel in addition to managing the hotel’s food & beverage.
