Ms. Freitez focuses her practice on domestic and international corporate and real estate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, entity formation, general corporate and hospitality matters. Some of her relevant experience includes contract drafting and capital market representations for clients based in Venezuela, Mexico, Panama, Guatemala and the United States.
Ms. Freitez is trained in civil-law and common-law systems, earned law degrees from schools in both Venezuela and the United States, and is admitted to practice in Florida, New York and Venezuela. Prior to joining Tenzer Arrieta LLC, Ms. Freitez was an associate and law clerk at the international law firm Hogan Lovells, where she worked on corporate and international matters in the firm’s Caracas, New York and Miami offices.
- Participated in the negotiation of a hotel management agreement and related agreements for a 133-key new-build hotel in the heart of Budapest, Hungary.
- Participated in the negotiation of a commercial lease of approximately 5,000 square feet for a high-end restaurant on Miami Beach.
- Represented an oil and gas company in the issuance of debt and other securitization transactions.
- Advised clients in connection with M&A transactions for corporations in the oil and gas, maritime, coating, and automotive industries for entities based in Venezuela, Mexico and United States.
